What's new in the latest version of Medisphere
Care Plan Templates
You'll notice some new Care Plans, particularly the Mental Health Plan and K-10.
Forms
Medisphere now lets you attach forms to a patient.
Medisphere Forms auto-fill appropriate sections from the Medisphere database.
Current Medisphere Forms include the Enhanced Primary Care Referral Form and the NSW Workcover Certificate.
There is also an Incident Form for Industrial users, which will feed into a searchable Incident Register.
Case Descriptions - A Case Based Record
In the History view of Medisphere, items attached to a patient can be viewed by Date or by Case.
To give a Case a Case Title, there is now an extra field at the start of each new item that is created.
Case Title prompts users to enter a name for the case. When you view a patient's history, all items with the same title will be grouped together.
This means that new cases can be quickly added, that retain the same properties as the old case eg: Diabetes. Note: This section does not have to be used if it does not fit your normal workflow.
It will apply to Workcover over time, but can also apply to Care Plans or any Case Note.
- Go to a Patient and Select New Care Plan.
- A new box will appear at the top of the page, saying: No Case Title.
- Select the box and click on 'No Case Title, please add new"
- A new box will appear and you can type 'Diabetes'.
- Go ahead with the Care Plan as per normal procedure.
Next time a Diabetes Care Plan needs to be done, go to 'New Care Plan'
- Select the Case Title box and click on 'Diabetes'
- This will create a Care Plan that remembers who was invited to the last Care Plan.
- In the History view, you will notice all the Diabetes Care Plans are grouped together in a folder.
